Shipping policy

Effective date: August 23, 2026

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed on the official Nioksstil website. “Nioksstil,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the seller identified on your order confirmation, payment receipt, or invoice.

We currently sell LED facial light-therapy masks (skin-contact electronic devices, often containing rechargeable batteries). Shipping rules below are written for that category. Checkout is the source of truth for the charge, method, and destination we can serve on a given order.

The official version of this policy is the Shipping Policy linked in the footer and at checkout. Our Shipping & Returns page uses the same rules. If anything else on the site conflicts, this policy and the checkout quote control, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

1. Where we ship from

Domestic United States orders are fulfilled from a U.S. warehouse. We do not promise a particular warehouse city on the storefront. The ship-from location on the carrier label is the origin for that shipment.

Our primary market is the United States. We may accept occasional orders to other countries at checkout. If a country, state, ZIP code, or P.O. Box is not offered at checkout, we do not ship there.

2. Processing time

In-stock orders are typically processed and handed to the carrier within 1–3 business days after payment is captured, excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays. Pre-order, back-order, or made-to-order items (if offered) ship according to the date stated on the product page. That date replaces the 1–3 business day estimate.

An order confirmation is not a shipping confirmation. You have a contract for goods when we accept the order; the delivery date remains an estimate until we send a tracking number.

If we cannot ship within the time we stated, or within 30 days after the order if no later date was stated, we will notify you and offer the options required by applicable U.S. mail-order rules, including a chance to consent to a delay or to cancel for a refund of amounts we actually collected for the delayed item.

3. Transit estimates (not guarantees)

  • United States (after the carrier scan): typically 3–7 business days for standard methods.
  • Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and remote ZIPs: often longer; the checkout estimate, if shown, controls.
  • Occasional international orders: typically 7–21 business days after the export scan, plus customs. Customs holds are outside our control.

These windows are estimates. Carrier congestion, weather, incorrect addresses, refused entry, and force majeure can extend them. We do not guarantee a delivery date unless the checkout page expressly sells a guaranteed service and the carrier accepts that guarantee.

4. Shipping charges, taxes, and what checkout controls

The shipping method and price shown at checkout for your address are the amounts you agree to pay. We may offer free shipping on some orders; if we do, the offer terms on the cart or product page apply, and a later convenience return does not convert free outbound shipping into a cash credit.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout for destinations where we collect it. If we do not collect tax for your destination, you remain responsible for any use tax your state requires.

5. Address accuracy and delivery location

You are responsible for a complete, deliverable shipping address, including apartment, suite, buzzer, and any carrier access codes. If the address is wrong, incomplete, or blocked, you pay the cost to redirect, return, or reship, unless the error is ours.

We ship to the shipping address on the order, not to a later informal request, unless we confirm the change in writing before the label is created.

P.O. Boxes and military addresses are accepted only if the selected carrier and checkout allow them. LED devices with batteries may be restricted on some air or mailbox services; if checkout blocks the method, we cannot override it.

6. Tracking and title / risk

We email tracking when the label is scanned by the carrier. You should monitor tracking and make the delivery location reasonably able to receive a parcel of this size.

For consumer orders, we treat the goods as delivered when the carrier’s tracking shows delivered to the address you provided (including a locker, pickup point, or neighbor location you authorized). Risk of loss passes on that delivery scan, except:

  • If tracking never reaches delivered and the carrier confirms loss in its network, we will replace or refund the paid item after the carrier’s investigation, at our choice.
  • If the carton arrives damaged, see Section 7.
  • Mandatory law may assign risk differently; that law controls.

We do not automatically require a signature. If you want a signature or hold-for-pickup, request it before we ship. We will try to add it if the carrier and remaining processing time allow; extra carrier fees are yours unless we caused the need.

7. Damaged, missing, or wrong items on arrival

Inspect the carton and the device as soon as you can. For transit damage, shortage, or a wrong item, email support@nioksstil.com within 7 business days of the delivery scan (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays) and include:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the outer carton, shipping label, inner packaging, and the issue
  • A list of missing pieces

We may file a carrier claim and will not ask you to destroy evidence. Keep all packaging until the claim closes. Claims opened after 7 business days are reviewed case by case; delay that prevents a carrier claim may limit the remedy we can offer for transit damage.

8. Lost parcels and theft after delivery

If tracking stalls for an abnormal period, contact us. We will query the carrier. A replacement or refund for carrier loss is issued only after the carrier confirms loss or we reasonably conclude the parcel will not arrive.

Theft or removal after a delivered scan (porch theft, building lobby, unauthorized neighbor) is not carrier loss in transit. We will share tracking and, if we have it, delivery photo data to help you with a police or building report. Replacement after a delivered scan is discretionary unless we sold a shipping-protection add-on on that order (we currently do not sell one). You may still have rights against the carrier or your card issuer; this sentence does not waive non-waivable law.

9. Refused, unclaimed, and returned-to-sender shipments

If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or returned because the address could not receive it, we will notify the order email. Options are reship (you pay new shipping plus any return-to-sender fee) or a refund minus non-recoverable outbound and return charges, as described in the Refund Policy.

10. Occasional international orders

When checkout allows a non-U.S. address:

  • You are the importer of record unless checkout expressly says we prepaid duties (DDP). We typically ship Delivered at Place (DAP): you pay customs duties, taxes, and broker fees.
  • We cannot mark a parcel as a gift or under-declare value.
  • If customs rejects, destroys, or indefinitely holds the parcel, that is not a “lost by Nioksstil” shipment. We will help with documents we have. Refunds for customs refusal are limited to amounts we can recover from the carrier, if any, unless the refusal was caused by our documentation error.
  • Convenience returns from outside the U.S. are still subject to the unopened / unused rule. You pay international return shipping and any export paperwork unless the return is for our error or a confirmed defect.
  • Delivery estimates do not include time in customs.

If your country grants a mandatory cooling-off or withdrawal right, follow the instructions we send when you notify us; we will honor that right to the extent the law requires, even if the item would not qualify as a U.S. convenience return. The hygiene exception in that law (if any) still applies to sealed personal-care goods that you unsealed.

11. Batteries and electronic-device shipping rules

LED masks may contain lithium-ion batteries or electronic components that carriers restrict. We ship only by methods the carrier permits. We may split, rebox, or change service if a selected method is later rejected for dangerous-goods reasons. We will notify you if that change affects the price or the estimate by more than a trivial amount.

Do not put a returned mask in checked airline baggage or in packaging that hides a damaged battery. If the device is swollen, hot, or leaking, stop and email us before shipping it back.

12. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier failure, labor disputes, government action, power or network outages, and supply interruption. We will still communicate and, where U.S. mail-order rules require, offer cancel-and-refund for a delay we cannot cure.
